I work with clients throughout Europe and North America on medical and scientific initiatives related to the human microbiome.

I'm passionate about science communication and frequently write about the microbiome for audiences of all kinds. I've authored over 200 media articles, online and in print -- with bylines in Nature, Scientific American, Leaps, Gastro & Endo News, alive, and many others.

I've written two books: (1) The Well-Fed Microbiome (Rockridge Press, 2016), and (2) Gut Microbiota: Interactive Effects on Nutrition and Health (Academic Press, 2018), with co-authors Edward Ishiguro & Natasha Haskey -- the 2nd of edition of which will be published in 2023.
